Abstract



The synthesis of nanoparticles is obtained using many methods. These methods are physical, chemical and biological methods. In the physical and chemical synthesis process, there are disadvantages such as the use of toxic chemicals, energy saving and long process. But the fact that nanoparticles obtained by biological synthesis are cheap, easy and environmentally friendly have encouraged researchers to this field. Gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) are important in medical applications, electronic devices, biosensors and catalysis. In this study, we synthesized gold nanoparticles obtained from the cherry leaf in idle state. The characterization of the obtained nanomaterials was done with UV-vis, XRD, SEM-EDX, FTIR and TGA-DTA. As a result, the size of the nanoparticles synthesized was determined to be at the nanodial, as can be seen from the XRD and SEM analyzes.
